First star of the show is the skate ray (two of these landed). We showed this picture to my coworker Rob and his reaction was "Bloody Hell!" The gunwhale on this boat is well above the waterline, showing what a monster size this ray is:
Next up is the Swell Shark:
Whad'ya think of those teeth??? Peter was keeping a good hold of the shark so he didn't take a bite out of somebody. (It doesn't help photo perspective that Peter is a very large man. The shark is actually 30+ inches long with a weight over 20 pounds.)
Wowsers! Jamie, these are just the best pictures! I'll bet Jarod is having the time of his life with all the fish around! I think you'll be headed soon to New Zealand. I've sure enjoyed your blog. I saw Martha taking her walk today, just as I was finishing mine. I try to get there Tuesdays and Thursdays. This has been such a neat opportunity for you. How is the JDE implementation going?
