Both too and from the Nobbies Centre we finally crossed paths with kangaroos close enough for the boys to see. They even got to see one hop, which was a much anticipated event since the ones at the zoo have always been lounging or just standing. This particular kangaroo was eating in a field just off the road. When Jarrod got out of the car to take his picture the ding of the open car door really caught the roo's attention.
